INTERVIEW WITH LEONARDO SUMULONG (CAMP COUNSELOR)

 

 

 

Jovana: Hello, Leo. Could you tell me your full name?

Leo: Hello. Yes, of course. My name is Leonardo Dizon Sumulong.

Jovana: And which university do you attend?

Leo: CEU Business School in Budapest, Hungary.

Jovana: Where are you from?

Leo: I`m from New York (NY), United States of America.

Jovana: What are your hobbies?

Leo: I like to watch movies, go running, try different foods, play sports, and write in my journal.

Jovana: What are your plans for the future?

Leo: I plan to stay in Europe to finish my studies at university and start working.

Jovana: When will you go back to the U.S.?

Leo: I will go home to the U.S. this December for Christmas.

Jovana: What is your opinion about this camp?

Leo: I think that this camp is great because the campers and counselors are all great people who like to learn and have fun. I wish that we had one more week we could all spend together.

Jovana: Do you speak any other language?

Leo: Yes, I speak some Japanese and a little bit of Tagalog. I also studied Italian.

Jovana: Which do you like more: music or sports?

Leo: I like sports more than music.

Jovana: Who is the prettiest, the funniest, the nicest, most talented and smartest camper for you?

INTERVIEW WTH LYDIA STACK (TEACHER TRAINER)

 

Jovana: Do you like working with kids? Why?

Lydia: Yes, of course! Because kids are full of energy and surprise. When I ask something I always get an answer.

Jovana: What was your exact job before you came here?

Lydia: Well, my exact job is to teach students that gonna be teachers int he future.

Jovana: Whose idea was to create a camp like this?

Lydia: Well, me, Mary Lou and our friend Craig were talking about it and we decided to come here and be with kids from different countries.

Jovana: Where do you come from?

Lydia: I’m from San Francisco, California.

Jovana: How long have you been teaching?

Lydia: Well, I was teaching in a primary school for 19 years and in a high school for 10 years.

Jovana: Have you ever been to Kosovo?

Lydia: Yes, I went there this year. From New York I went to Serbia and then I went to Kosovo. I visited Prizren, Pristina etc.

Jovana: What would you like to create in this camp?

Lydia: I want to create a family atmosphere for the kids coming from different places.

INTERVIEW WITH JIM STACK

 

 

Jovana: Where do you come from?

Jim: I’m from San Francisco, California.

Jovana: What is your full name?

Jim: My full name is James Dennis Stack.

Jovana: What are your hobbies?

Jim: My hobbies are reading books, swimming and watching dramas.

Jovana: Do you speak any other language?

Jim: Yes, I speak Spanish.

Jovana: Do you like this camp?

Jim: Yes, very much. Because we all come from very different countries.

Jovana: How long will you stay in the camp?

Jim: I’m staying for 2 weeks.

Jovana: What is your favorite color?

Jim: My favorite colors are green and yellow.

Jovana: Do you like travelling?

Jim: Yes, very much!

Jovana: Where have you already been?

Jim: I have travelled to many places: Africa, Europe etc.

Jovana: Do you like your country?

Jim: Yes, very much. Because it is a very interesting country.
